I live in Dzietrzniki. There are many interesting places and buildings to visit around my village. The most beautiful and famous building in my surroundings is wooden church in Popowice. The church was built in sixteenth century, probably in 1520. The structure was built without use nails. The main altar is from sixteenth century and have character of renaissance. There are in statues saints and image Our Lady of Sorrows. Presbytery directed is in the east. The interesting phenomenom only in Popowice is tower than the upper edge of the roof. At the top of the roof is a baroque tower. In around the church there was a cementary. For the church we could through entry side by porch. Entry is still about 20 years ago looked very different than today. There were very interesting late Gothic jamb, richly ornamented with the so-called blank. donkey's back. Same door dating back to the sixteenth century were decorated with iron fittings with plant motifs and figural. Unfortunately, in the eighties of the twentieth century they have been removed and now lie in store in the sacristy. Themselves and the doorposts were covered with paneling.
