Martin Cooper was born in 26th December 1928 in Chicago. He is an inventor of the first mobile phone. When he left navy he started working at Teletype, which was a subsidiary of Western Electric. In 1950 he recieved a bachelors degree in Technological Engineering from Illinois institute of Technology and four years later he was hired by Motorola and started working on portable products. He was the first person who make the first phone call using mobile phone. That event took place on April 3, 1973 on Sixth Avenue in New York City. Martin Cooper is big fun of Star Trek. The communicator which was used by Captain Cirk was an inspiration for him to develop mobile phone. Koniec!
